Church - Tree Felling
To make St John’s Church in Rogerstone more visible, we had to carefully remove 12 conifer trees without disturbing the nearby road and graves.
During the three-day job, two men used the wood chipper, while one worked the chainsaw. It proved to be a very time consuming job as the trees were more than 50 feet tall and a man had to climb each one with a spurs and harness to cut branches off on the way up and the sections of the trunk on the way down.
