Patio - Restricted access excavation
We had to create a level patio area during this four day job in Newport, and used a ¼ ton digger, telehandler tractor and trailers and two strong men with wheelbarrows!
The reason being that the men had to move more than 50 tonnes of soil in wheelbarrows from the back garden, through the house and out the front door. As the property was around ten feet above the road in a narrow cul-de-sac, the soil went into a telehandler with a large bucket before eventually being taken to a trailer 200 yards away.
